2 Balls - Football !

Imagine, how will the game of football change if we use 2 balls to play the game instead of one.
Now both the teams have 2 footballs to hit a goal. Each team can attack from both the wings(left and right) simultaneously.
Or, may be both the teams can be attacking each others goal post at the same time.
And many more such combinations that you can think of.
I will leave it for you to have fun with your imagination.

I bet some (if not most) football fans will like this; feeling a bit odd about the strangeness and how crazy and chaotic will the game become. Initially, more chaotic than crazy.
Because, the “devil is in the details”.
How will the rules of the game change to accommodate “another” ball ?

Many questions will come to your mind.
“How many referees?”
“How will we decide off-side?”
“What happens when 1 ball is out of the ground while other is still in play?”
And so on …
Even the football experts may need to go through the rules of the game and make deliberations for weeks (if not days) to adjust the rules to add an additional ball to the game.

Just “one” simple change and there will be so much chaos for everyone, starting from the rule makers, to players, and the spectators. I feel more for the spectators which football will they focus on ?
Will the game become too complex and a lot of a sensory overload ?
Will it be too much for them ?
Will they still enjoy and love the game as they did the game with “one” football ?
Or, may be more ? Or, may be less ?
Will the “inertia” of the known kick-in and they will NOT accept the “change” at all ! Who knows ?
But one thing i can say with most certainty that—nobody can say for sure—how will this “small” change impact the game of football; its players to adapt to the new rules, its potential to entertain, its fans and their passion for the game, and in short its future.

Hypothetically, if ever this “2 ball—football” comes to life, then another important question arises — what kind of players, with what kind of skills, will become the “stars” of the game.
And, if we speculate that even in the past football was played with 2 footballs, then will the same people be the, stars, greatest of all times, or would the history be written by different people(the stars) for different people (the fans).
